Lawson's Andy Brown Admits One Direction Smash Hit 'Would Make Him Millions'

Andy Brown may have a lot on his hands in terms of his own band Lawson, but the singer/songwriter has also spoken out about writing tracks for One Direction, saying that if any of them were picked for a single, he may be able to make millions.

Lawson's latest track Brokenhearted stormed into the top 10 in the charts recently and it seems like Andy is set to continue his songwriting success with one of the biggest bands in the world right now!

He tells the Daily Star: "I might have a song on hold for One Direction which would be amazing."

He added: "It's called Who We Are and hopefully they are going to vocal it. It's great for your CV and if it ends up being a single you're rolling in it. You are talking millions."

"But it's like throwing sh*t at the wall and hoping it sticks, "continuing:" 1D have so many people writing songs for them I'm not going ti splash the cash just yet."

The singer has previously written tracks about ex GF Mollie King, but denies that Lawson's latest song 'Brokenhearted' is about her.

He tells AmazePop: "Not really,no. Like you said, I wrote a few songs about Mollie on the first album but I also wrote about other girls I've dated as well, so this latest tune isn't about a specific girl, it's more general."

Before continuing: "You take experiences about every girl you've been with and use it for that particular song. I think a lot of guys especially will relate to this song becouse every guy's been through that one nasty breakup and you know, come out the other side and they've been great, never been better."

I'm sure there are plenty of girls who are more than willing to take her place, Andy!
